These examples were created by the Fall 2009 class at San Jose State University. The small groups had only 30 days to construct these and so they are attempts by novices. One of the major features was to go beyond the typical school library web site that is usually a one-way stream of information toward building a giant conversation - a type of wikipedia where everyone is contributing. In all cases, look for a "tour" of the site to discern what types of features each group tried to build into tier project.
This is an example of a "vision" for the 21st Century Learning Commons and Virtual Learning Commons. It was created Spring 2011 by San Jose State University SLIS student Lynde Roberts.
